Welcome to PTT, a mobile application and website operated by Communication Band LTD (“we,” “our,” “us”). By using our mobile application (the “App”) or our website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Use of the App and Site

  • Users must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
  • You agree not to misuse the App or Site or interfere with its normal operation.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the security of your device and email account.

  • To use the App, you may need to provide your email address, which will be stored locally on your device.
  • We do not store your notes or emails on our servers.
  • You are responsible for any data you input into the App and ensuring its accuracy.

4. Subscription and Payments

  • The App offers a limited amount of free usage. After exceeding the free limit, users may purchase additional transcription minutes via subscription tiers.
  • Payments are processed through the relevant app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store), and their respective terms of service apply.
  • Subscription fees are subject to change with prior notice.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and protect user data.
  • We comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding data security and user rights.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

  • The App, Site, and all associated content are owned by Communication Band LTD and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without written permission.

7. Limitations of Liability

  • We provide the App and Site on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data or any damages arising from the use of our services.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions generated by OpenAI’s Whisper service.

8. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your access to the App or Site if you violate these Terms.
  • You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

9. Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App or Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
